Brel & Brass is a project of singer Micheline van Hautem surrounding the beautiful music of the great Jacques Brel. For years van Hautem has been considered one of the best interpreters of Brel’s chanson. This already started with her wonderful album ‘Songs Of Jacques Brel’ from 2002. In this special programme, the Philips Harmonie will play an instrumental programme with as special guest bass trombonist Jos Jansen. After the intermission van Hautem will perform the best Brel classics, along with the Eindhoven’s Harmonie orchestra.
