MID AUTUMN CITY FESTIVAL

The Centro Latinoamericano de Orientación, C.L.O., invites you for the MID AUTUM CITY FESTIVAL on the 30th of October 2022 in the CKE, het Centrum voor de Kunsten.

Around the world people celebrate festivals during autumn like the day of the death in Mexico, Halloween in the United States, Diwali in India, Loy Krathong in Thailand or the Moon Festival in China.

CLO celebrates the colourful autumn the 30th of October with music, dance, rituals, and International cuisine for food lovers. The many colours of autumn symbolize our multicultural city Eindhoven.

DJ Ineke Hurkmans carries the vibe of techno. For the Mid-Autumn City Festival, she will bring a diverse scale of music from all over the world, might even be mixed with a good base line of techno. Be surprised!

The dance Grupo Colombia Eindhoven is promoting Colombian culture through typical dances. They showcase rhythms from different regions of the country and perform other Latin rhythms.

Cynthia Gabla is a professional dancer from Ghana. She will present an attractive dance workshop, Afrikaans Swing, with the participation of the public.

Carola Eijsenring and accompanied by Erik Deckert on the didgeridoo, TheOwlInTheCity on the hang drum and Ali Becan on the cello, autumn rhythms.

Marcia Cardoso who has worked together with famous artists in Brazil such as Raça Negra, Negritude Junior, Negra Li and the North American Jimmie Bo Horne, now lives in Eindhoven, and will bring you Brazilian Music with the passion for her country and her great Brazilian community in the city.

To keep the rhythm of the music in our feet we will have Máximo and Eloisa… “Forever Songs and Dance” Venezuelan singers with extensive experience in the interpretation of various international musical genres, bring us, on this occasion, a concert of iconic international songs and the most popular dance rhythms…. Sing and dance with them.

The volunteers and hosts will do everything possible to guarantee a friendly, entertaining event with an international atmosphere.
