6th Annual HLE Networking Night

September 26 @ 17:00 - 21:00

Free
DomusDela, Hotel Mariënhage

Join HLE for an evening of professional development and networking with others involved with mother tongue education!

The HLE Networking Night has become an annual tradition in Eindhoven/Brainport, started in 2019, to kick off the new school year by putting the spotlight on active language groups in the city. The event provides a welcoming space for professionals involved in heritage language education — and local partners — to come together, share experiences, and explore ideas for collaboration. Each year, the HLE Networking Night is listed as an event of the European Day of Languages (September 26), an international initiative that celebrates linguistic diversity.

Introducing: professional development

We are excited to introduce the opportunity for heritage language teachers, program managers, and others interested to attend free interactive professional development sessions. Through these 45-minute “micro-workshops” led by expert educators and other specialists, participants will be able to explore creative and practical methods for teaching at and managing heritage language programs. Dinner broodjes will be provided to micro-workshop attendees.

General program

17:00 – 19:30 Professional development (with dinner broodjes)

19:30 – 21:00 Professional networking
