Something special happens to you when Simone Roerade is on stage. It is the voice of a power-woman carried by the funky groove of the band which grabs you and takes you with it. The songs have streaks of Fender-Rhodes solos in them that make soul and jazz meet.
Mrs Hips will be live on stage in the Small Hall during the Blue Note Club Sessions of the Muziekgebouw performing to an almost empty hall, but for everyone watching from their homes instead. You can watch the online livestream for free!
