Christmas concert 2023 Vocal Ensemble Marcando

December 17, 2023 @ 15:00 - 16:00

€10

After a successful summer concert, the Vocal Ensemble Marcando now presents a Christmas concert in a winter atmosphere. On Sunday, December 17 at 3 p.m. in De Regenboog Church on Sportlaan in Nuenen.

The Vocal Ensemble Marcando presents a colourful palette of Advent and Christmas carols from Byrd, Britten to Warlock and Wood. Four well-known chorales from Bach’s Christmas Oratorio will be played, accompanied by Henk Blauw at the organ. Beloved classical sounds such as Es ist ein Ros entsprungen and Ding Dong Merrily provide a pleasant change in an international Christmas program. Of course, the age-old and beloved Silent Night is not missing. A spirited Spanish 16th-century folk melody concludes the Christmas concert. At the heart of the concert, an atmospheric musical Christmas story by Nico ter Linden is read out. Conductor Amin Amel Ebrahimi from Iran, widely praised for his versatility, guarantees a dynamic and fascinating performance.

Tickets in advance and prior to the concert: 10 euros (drink included afterwards)
