A scooter rolled forward due to its brakes being incorrectly applied, hitting a female pedestrian crossing the Winston Churchillaan onto Genovevelaan.
A passing bus hit the scooter, resulting in damage to the bus.
The woman was examined by medics at the scene but did not require hospital treatment.
