750.000th visitor at DAF Museum

Eindhoven DAF Museum welcomed its 750.000th visitor yesterday.

It was Anne Hautmans-Verboven, who visited the DAF Museum with her sons David and Levi. They were treated with cake and a bouquet of flowers. She also received a miniature of the first DAF car.

According to CEO Geert Vermeer the museum has reached a new milestone. Each year the number of visitors at the museum increases, he says. Last year we had 50.000 visitors. If the growth continues, the millionth visitor could be a fact within four or five years.

About 140 volunteers work at the DAF Museum. At the museum old cars, army trucks, trucks and race cars can be seen.
