Geldrop has started the redesign of the Langstraat. The shopping street in the center of the village will get new paving, lighting and greenery.
The job will be implemented in two parts to keep the shops and parking spaces accessible. A board walk of two meters will remain during the work.
By tackling the Langstraat the center of Geldrop should gain more charisma. All kinds of references to the textile past in the village center should also help.
