At the corner of the stationsplein, today the first shovel went into the ground for the construction of the new Student Hotel. It will be built at the same spot where the post office originally was.
Four hundred rooms are planned for the hotel. You can rent a room for a night, a week, but also for one or two semesters. Both students and non-students can use these rooms. On the ground floor of the hotel there will be study rooms and an auditorium, as well as an espresso bar and a restaurant.
In 2017 the construction of the Student Hotel should be completed.
