Robot Soccer Team TU/e wins in RoboCup Portugal Open

The robot soccer team from the Eindhoven University of Technology has won for the third time since 2013, the Portugal Open. The Eindhoven team won against Portugal with 6-1.

The purpose of the contest is to accelerate the development of robots for our society. Ultimately, the goal is that a team of soccer robots can win a match against human players in 2050.

The robots used during this contest are all autonomous. That is, they act independently, without a remote control or other control involved.
