Thijs van de Meeberg from Eindhoven has won the prestigious Leiden Cabaret Festival on Saturday evening.
Both the public and the jury awarded the 26-year-old, Van de Meeberg as the best cabaret talent. He won the show "Voorstelling". He will soon tour the Dutch theatres.
Van de Meeberg was raised in Nuenen, and pursued a cabaret training in Den Bosch.
Previously winners of the Leiden Cabaret Festival include Javier Guzman and Najib Amhali.
