Social Design Talent Award 2014 jury including Robert Elbrink Head of Strategy Sector, Municipality of Eindhoven, Jessica van Eijs, Eindhoven Councillor and Jaap Haenen viewed the projects and talked to the nominees.
The prize is awarded every year during Dutch Design Week (DDW). Design Academy Eindhoven (DAE) graduate Dave Hakkens won the award last year with his Plastic Fantastic project. Will another DAE graduate win this year?
The Nominees this year are:

Janneke Bergholz – My Constructive Corn
Laura Ferriere and Eleonore Delisse – The White Building
Ton Ewals – Mantis
Julia Veldhuijzen van Zanten – Protective Underwear
The winner will be announced on 24 October after the debate "Social Design for Wicked Problems" organized by Het Nieuwe Instituut at the DAE. The winner will be awarded an assignment for the city of Eindhoven worth 10,000.00 EUR.
