Eindhoven Airport customers are satisfied with the service provided. So pleased, that visitors to the consumer website Zoover have elected the regional airport as the most popular airport in the Netherlands.
Eindhoven based company Vacansoleil came in first place in the category ‘Best supplier camping holidays’.
Last Thursday the consumer prizes were awarded. According to the jury, Eindhoven Airport had worked hard to optimize their service. Amongst other things, the airport expanded with a new terminal, additional shops and restaurants. Moreover, a new website was introduced, as well as an online parking service.
Managing director Joost Meijs: "We are obviously very proud that consumers have elected Eindhoven Airport as the most popular Dutch airport. This Zoover Award reflects their appreciation for the work that has recently been done to please the passengers. We regard it as the ultimate compliment and as a reward for the work done by all colleagues at the airport."
In addition to the prize for most popular airport, prizes were also awarded for the top rated tour operator and best holiday park. Furthermore, Curaçao was elected as best holiday country outside the EU this year. Within the EU, Spain and Portugal received Zoover Awards.
In 2010 Zoover began awarding prizes for travel organizations. This allows consumers to express their appreciation for organizations that are highly committed to offering excellent service.
This year 175,000 consumers voted; 40,000 more than last year.
