A 28-year-old man from Eindhoven has been sentenced to eleven years’ imprisonment for stabbing his 34-year-old colleague Youssef to death.
Today the court in Den Bosch ruled that the man also has to pay compensation of nearly 4,000 euros to the victim’s relatives.
Last year the perpetrator stabbed his colleague several times during a break at work. The victim later died of his injuries.
During the trial, the man refused to undergo a psychiatric examination. Therefore, the court declared him fully accountable.
