HighTechXL: start-up fund of 100 million euros

Eindhoven will get a special fund of 100 million euros for regional technological companies.

That news was announced at the Demo Day Startup Bootcamp HighTechXL at the Evoluon in Eindhoven today.

The investment fund DEC focuses on promising start-ups in the field of sustainable innovation. Nine of these companies gave short presentations of their invention at the Evoluon today.

DEC partners include Philips, NXP, ABN AMRO, BOM and High Tech Campus Eindhoven. At the location of the High Tech Campus, the HighTechXL Plaza was also opened today. The Plaza consists of office and lab space you can rent at favourable terms.
