GLOW enthusiasts can once again visit the various light works of art scattered throughout the city while enjoying glühwein and chocolate. The GLOW festival started on 9 November.

In addition to the large works of art, this edition also focuses on smaller lighting projects. There are GLOWlabs, for example, where beginners and non-artists get a stage. However, this year’s highlight is the White Lady, the Witte Dame. A massive light show is projected on this building, supported by music. A visitor who has been going to GLOW for a couple of years now, likes to see the famous buildings change. “It’s nice to recognise the buildings in light’.

The sunflowers artwork also received many compliments. “It looks like you’re about to step into the famous Van Gogh painting.” Visitors find the flowers to be an impressive sight. “Those colours are gorgeous; they make me happy. As you walk through the sunflower field, crickets and swallows can be heard in the background as if you were walking in the middle of a French meadow.
