Remember little Julian who, last week, asked the City Council to please plant a tree in front of his house?
Good news! The 8-year-old boy’s wish came true. On Friday, he received a special gift from the Eindhoven Municipality. He got a new tree in front of his house.
Last month, a storm blew over the tree that stood in front of Julian’s family home. Julian, therefore, sent a letter to the Council, asking for a new tree. Eindhoven’s City Council for Public Areas, Jan van der Meer, could not refuse the request.
And it is not only Julian that is happy with the tree. His neighbours are also pleased with the new piece of greenery on their street.
