Southeast Brabant may be the smartest region in the world, it is not successful in converting its knowledge into a sustainable society. This was stated in a report published by KPMG*.
The organisation, together with the City of Eindhoven, researched sustainability and innovation in Southeast Brabant. The conclusion of the researchers is not very positive.Eindhoven and its surrounding areas have much knowledge in the area of technology, mobility and energy. They are also very ambitious when it comes to sustainability, but the region is unsuccessful in deploying its knowledge to create a sustainable society.*KPMG employs 145,000 people and has three lines of services: audit, tax and advisory.
