Three dance groups from the Eindhoven Dance Association, Creative Modern Wise (CMW), are competing in the Hip-Hop World Championships in Phoenix, USA, next week.
Two hundred teams from all over the world will be taking part in this prestigious event. One of the three groups from Eindhoven is “The Fire”, who won “Holland’s Got Talent” this year. They are joined by “The Slayerz” and “The CMW Family”, who also hail from Eindhoven, and who also qualified to go to the World Champs.
There are months of preparation that makes taking part in the World Championships possible for these dancers. This includes qualifying competitions, endless training and getting sponsorships. The teams are trained by Carlton Walden.
The Hip-Hop World Championships will take place from 7 to 12 August.
