Man found murdered in Eindhoven

A man from Helmond was found dead in a house on Sonseweg in Vaartbroek, Eindhoven at around half past six on Friday evening.

The 66-year-old victim had been visiting the owner of the house. The occupant left the house for a short time and when he returned, he found the man from Helmond lying in a pool of blood. There is evidence that his death was due to foul play. The owner called the police. Emergency services tried to resuscitate the victim, but to no avail.The owner of the house is not a suspect. No weapon has been found.The police cordoned off part of Sonseweg to conduct their search. House-to-house inquiries were also made, without success.
