A fire broke out on Karnemelkweg in Tongelre. It damaged two cars as well as a fence. This was likely caused by fireworks. The fire brigade had difficulties extinguishing the fire. Nevertheless, they were able to prevent the fire from spreading to a garage box. Another car burned out on Pygmalionlaan in Woensel. The cause was also fireworks.
There are several other fires at Molenstraat, Fransebaan, and Bennekelstraat in Eindhoven. A container burned out at the Toernooiveld in Geldrop.
