The construction of a new entrance for buses to the Neckerspoel bus station is causing major traffic problems on Fellenoord.
The new bus entrance was built last week and has been in use since Thursday. This alteration was needed because the bus station is being expanded.
Buses from the direction of John F. Kennedylaan and Berenkuil no longer enter the bus station at the traffic lights. They use a new crossing made at the Rabobank office. It intersects the bike path. Traffic coming from the direction of the Philips Stadium must now move to one lane. The other lane is now reserved for buses. There are traffic controllers at the new bus crossing. But their instructions are often being ignored.
