The Catharina Hospital has been ranked 9th in the the Top Clinical Hospitals category of the Algemeen Dagblad’s Top 100 Hospitals, with Maxima Medical Centre placed 16th.
The list ranks hospitals in the Netherlands on a variety of criteria such as nursing, medication, and admission times as well as routine procedures such as cataract treatment and tonsil removal.
The list also distinguishes between clinical hospitals, which handle more complex procedures, and so-called regional hospitals.
Geldrop’s Sint Anna Hospital ranked 23rd in the regional hospital category.
