Move to Stay project aims to devise innovative home care solutions

Home care organisation Tzorg will team up with Fontys Eindhoven to organise the “Move to Stay” project, which will aim to improve home care services, at the High Tech Campus.

Tzorg employs 10,000 aides who provide daily in-home care for more than 50,000 patients with physical or psychological disabilities.

An increasing number of patients has led to a shortage in home care aides, a gap the ‘Move to Stay’ project aims to bridge. An international group of participants aged between 18 and 70 will spend 36 hours devising smart solutions for future home care services.

Ideas based on themes such as loneliness, prevention, identification, and self-reliance will be presented. A winning idea will be selected, with the participant receiving a €2,500 grant to further develop their solution.

The ‘Move to Stay’ event will be held on 9 and 10 November at the High Tech Campus.
