Aalsterweg will be completely closed to car traffic this weekend. The closure will be from Friday, 6 September – that is tonight – at 21:00 until, at the latest, Monday, 9 September at 06:00.
The Aalsterweg-Stappendijk intersection will be tarred, and maintenance will be done on Aalsterweg, between Stappendijk and Theo Koomenlaan. Through traffic will be diverted via Leenderweg.
Work on the traffic junction and the cycle path on Stappendijk will continue until mid-October. The RPC Football Club will relocate to Heihoef in December.
Preparation of the site for the construction of the parking garage can then begin. This garage should be ready for use by late 2020.
