Mayor Schmalschläger closed a house on the Lisdodde in Mierlo for three months on July 16, 2019, after a hemp nursery was found.
During an investigation into the house, the police found a hemp nursery in the bedroom on the first floor of the house in which 195 hemp plants stood. In another bedroom a second hemp nursery was found with 163 hemp plants.
In both cases it was a so-called indoor cultivation under artificial light. Research shows that a harvest of 465 hemp plants has taken place.
