The Dynamo Metalfest took place in Eindhoven last weekend. Heavy metal music fans gathered again to share their love for heavy metal music.
This year, the Dynamo Metalfest lasted a whole weekend instead of the previous one-day festival. Fifteen different bands from all over the world performed for a few thousand fans who attended. The organisers set up a campsite also for the first time, near the Ice Sports Center to accommodate some fans.
The dark clothing and loud music often look satanic, but these fans do not engage in prejudice and violence. “If you bump into someone, it’s no problem, it won’t start a fight,” a visitor said.

The next Dynamo Metalfest will take place next year on 17 and 18 July in Eindhoven. Tickets are available on the Dynamo Metalfest website.
