According to the Dommel Water Board, it is not yet safe because there are still fallen trees in the river. Last week’s storm severely damaged the trees.
This week, as well as in the coming week, the water board is going to be removing the trees between the sewage treatment plant in Eindhoven and the Wilhelminakanaal in Son.
Other parts of the Dommel between the Belgian border and Boxtel are accessible by canoe.
