On Saturday, the Parktheater in Eindhoven announced its 2019/2020 theatre season programme.
The programme includes more than 450 performances in various genres. These are drama, opera, dance, musical, show, music, musical theatre, youth, and comedy. According to the theatre, the new programme exudes peace, space, and a retro feeling. This programme includes collaborations with the Natlab and the Hertog Jan brewery.
On 21 August, the new season starts with a new location performance of Afslag Eindhoven: Stallerhof. This performance can be seen in the Genneper Hoeve shed.
Comedy, dance, drama
Many different theatre groups such as the Nationale Theater, the Internationaal Theater Amsterdam, the Zuidelijk Toneel, the Theater Rotterdam, and the NTGent will perform in Eindhoven. Well-known dance groups such as the Nederlands Dans Theater, the Nationale Ballet, and the Scapino Ballet Rotterdam will also come to the Parktheater. For comedy fans, a number of top comedians have been booked, including Theo Maassen, Youp van ‘t Hek, and Brigitte Kaandorp.
In the 2019/2020 season, performances at the Parktheater will be filmed and performed live in the Vitalis WoonZorgGroep care institutions. This will be done in cooperation with Studio040 and the Vitalis WoonZorgGroep.
