A big collision at the Kloosterdreef / Europalaan intersection caused major havoc yesterday.
At around 23:30 last night, two cars smashed into each other head-on.
Last year, there were multiple, frequent, serious accidents at this intersection. A police officer on site said that, apparently, drivers turning into the crossing collide with oncoming traffic. These lanes of traffic have simultaneous green lights.
There was a lot of chaos, but the cars’ airbags did their job. No one was seriously injured.
