From 6 May to 12 May, ProRail will be renewing four kilometers of track, four switches and three level crossings. That will cause a lot of inconvenience for travelers between Eindhoven, Den Bosch and Tilburg.
Train traffic
In that week no trains run between Eindhoven and Den Bosch. Whoever has to be in Den Bosch can best travel via Tilburg. Extra intercity trains run on the Eindhoven – Tilburg – Den Bosch route to deal with the inconvenience as well as possible.
This means that there is no place for sprinters between Tilburg and Boxtel. Stop buses run throughout the week. Stop buses also run between Boxtel and Den Bosch.
Level Crossings
The level crossings that will be renewed are those at Molenwijkseweg, Tongersestraat and Essche Heike in Boxtel. This can cause inconvenience to local residents.
Weekend
On Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 May there are express buses and stop buses between Eindhoven and Tilburg and Eindhoven and Den Bosch. In that weekend the tunnel at Best will have new emergency exit doors and noise barriers will be installed at Eindhoven.
