Last year, a man harassed several women in Eindhoven’s city centre.
The police announced this on Tuesday evening in the missing persons’ TV programme, Opsporing Verzocht. It was already known that he had earlier sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl.
He spoke to her on 1 August, in English, in the bicycle shed at Piazza. He asked how old she was and was, therefore, well aware of the fact that she was a minor. He then grabbed her by the hands and hips and stuck his tongue into her mouth. The girl pulled away and fled. She reported the incident.
Ten minutes later, the man struck again. This victim also escaped. He was caught on film by security cameras.
The police are considering that there are more incidents. The suspect has not yet been caught. The police are calling on witnesses to come forward.
