The Eindhoven police seemed to have caught their man. On Saturday night, a man was arrested. He is suspected of a series of robberies in the city. The 51-year-old man from Eindhoven is currently being detained.
The investigation ramped up after a robbery at a casino in Oss on Saturday night. The description of that suspect was very similar to that of the man who was wanted in Eindhoven for various robberies. This eventually led to the man from Eindhoven.
After the most recent robbery, at a tanning studio on the Woenselse Markt, the police thought they had caught the right perpetrator. But it turned out not to be the case. This time, it seems they have apprehended the right suspect. A search of the suspect’s home yielded so much evidence that the police have no doubt that they have the right man. He is responsible for a series of robberies in the city which started in early February.
The series of crimes held the city in its grip for weeks. A special team was put on the case, and last week, extra police officers and investigators were made available to help with the investigation.
