A Polish parish will be officially established in Eindhoven, per January first, 2019.
The diocese of Den Bosch establishes the Polish parish of Divine Mercy. Polish services were already taking place in Eindhoven. These took place in for instance the Trudokerk in Strijp.
Father Krzysztof Obiedzinski sees the founding of a parish as a sign of recognition. “This is important for Polish people working and living in Eindhoven. They are happy”, he told Eindhovens Dagblad.
During the weekends, the Polish priest also travels to Waalwijk, Helmond, Tilburg, Asten-Heusden and Oss. There, he also conducts services.
