Was this the last summer’s day of the year in Eindhoven?

26 degrees, mid-October. It makes many frown, but the parks were crowded again on Tuesday.

‘I can already see Christmas trees in the DIY stores,’ says a man who walks around the Karpendonkse lake in Woensel-Noord. “Let this last a while, is what I’m thinking.” And that is what half Eindhoven is thinking. Most residents of the city realize that 26 degrees in October is not exactly normal, but they can enjoy it.

It’s getting colder
‘You can tell from nature that it has been dry, but it is nice for us humans and for my dog’, laughs a man who makes a round trip with his four-legged friend. In the coming period the mercury will drop to a degree of eighteen. That is still relatively warm for the time of the year.
