The fourth edition of the Freedom Run is coming up: a running event in the exact spot where the liberation of the Netherlands started on 17 September 1944.
On Sunday 28 October the organization, Stichting 18 September, pays tribute to the American liberators. Joe Mann and Robert Cole are the focus this year, along with five liberators from the previous edition of the Freedom Run.
The start will take place on the site of the Bevrijdende Vleugels museum again. All distances go through the Dakotahal of the museum this year. The three longer distances lead through the forests along memorial monuments.
