At least, according to health insurance company CZ. This health insurance company awarded the hospital’s obesity center the designation “best care”.
CZ specifically singles out gastric reduction operations. CZ’s “best care” indication is based on the number of operations, experience of surgeons and supervision of patients before and after operations.
At the Máxima Medical Center, obesity operations are followed by personal treatment programs. These programs last five years, to help patients adopt a healthier lifestyle.
A healthy lifestyle includes supervised exercise, psychological help and reaching the right diet.
