On average, a visit to one of Eindhoven’s terraces costs more than last year. Last year, it would cost on average 21,40 euros, whilst this year it costs 22,10 euros – an increase of 3.3 percent.

These figures were calculated by catering advisor Van Spronsen, using the example of an order of two coffees, two juices, two beers, and two rosé wines.

Nonetheless, in comparison with other large Dutch cities, Eindhoven is actually not so expensive. In fact, there are thirteen more expensive cities, with Amsterdam as the ‘winner’. There you pay in the region of 25 euros.
