Locals living in the vicinity of Eindhoven Airport join forces with local residents from other airports.
Together they want to do something against the growth of Dutch aviation. Together they set up the ‘Landelijk Bewonersberaad Luchtvaart’ (National Residents’ Council on Aviation) on Tuesday.
The action group is committed to the health of people, the environment and the climate. They also want airlines to reduce their CO2 emissions and that travelling by train will become cheaper in Europe.
The first day of action is scheduled for 23 June. In addition to local residents of Eindhoven Airport, residents’ associations such as Schiphol, Rotterdam Airport and Maastricht Airport have also joined the action group.
