Beukenlaan closed for two weeks for new asphalt

Eindhoven‘s Beukenlaan will be closed to all traffic, in both directions, for two weeks starting Saturday.

On the part between the railway viaduct at the Strijp-S station and the tunnel Beukenlaan/Noord-Brabantlaan, new silent asphalt will be applied, while new pedestrian crossings will be added at the viaduct ‘speed bump’ in Strijp.

The new asphalt will diminish the sound of traffic significantly to reduce noise pollution for residents in new housing complexes both in Strijp-S and close to the Ring.

Extensive alternative routes will be available from Saturday until Tuesday 1 August the noise pollution will be significantly, because the old asphalt must be drilled away.
