Since this afternoon (Monday) there was no train service between Boxtel and Eindhoven. This is as a result of an accident at Best station.
The incident happened in the tunnel. Emergency services are on the scene and a trauma helicopter has also been requested.
The Intercity, which (at 17:00) still has all it’s passengers on board, has stopped just in front of the tunnel. Police have closed Sportlaan in Best to traffic.
(It is expected that the delay will last until at least 19:30.)
