In the Eindhoven neighbourhood of Hanevoet a small soccer field and a scooter where damaged over the weekend by arsonists.
A small fire was started on the field, which melted the synthetic grass. A small bench next the field was also destroyed. It’s wood was used to start the fire.
A scooter was also set alight in the same area over the weekend. The only part that was not damaged was the frame; the rest of the scooter was completely melted. The section of bicycle path under the scooter was damaged.
The police think the two fires are connected and are looking for witnesses.
