It’s not long now and the cows of Genneper Farm will be put to pasture after a long winter.
This will, provisionally, happen on Wednesday. The doors of the barn will be thrown open and the cows will do their annual “dance” with it’s funny jumps and crazy “dance moves”.
Genneper Farm is in the centre of Eindhoven and organises the koeiendans every year.
Last year, the koeiendans was in the theme of the World Animal Protection (WAP). The WAP, and Genneper Farm, wanted to draw attention to the ‘Koe in de wei‘ (Cow in the pasture) campaign. Many cows are kept in the barn all year round and they want to change this.
The koeiendans is on Wednesday, 26 April at 11:30.
