A woman from Eindhoven who was on her way to Syria, will be extradited to the Netherlands by Bulgaria. That reports Omroep Brabant. The 33-year-old woman was arrested on the border with Turkey.
The woman would have converted to Islam and started traveling to Syria in September last year. She was arrested on December 21, when she wanted to cross the border with a car.
The Eindhoven woman was arrested at the request of the Netherlands, and after a European Arrest Warrant.
