Start-up Geardropper wants to make camping hip again

Collect or have a complete set of camping equipment delivered in eight different countries. It is possible with the new camping start-up “Geardropper”, says co-founder Nick van den Berg, who is from Eindhoven.

The business is based in Eindhoven and was started with the next generation of campers in mind. Bas Sonnevelt and Nick van den Berg noticed that today’s youngsters spend more and more time behind screens. The essence of life: finding pleasure in simplicity, nature and each other is therefore being lost.

This is why they came up with “Geardropper”. With this, enthusiasts can rent complete sets of equipment in, amongst other countries, France, Italy and Spain. From tents to pans and from burners to air mattresses.
