Bicycle parking at the Eindhoven station may be expanded. An additional 4200 extra spaces for bicycles may be constructed. This was announced by State Secretary Dijksma.
Eindhoven receives money from a total of 40 million euro, from which extra bicycle racks in a total of twelve places should be paid from. The Ministry does not cover all the costs, the municipality must also contribute half.
The new parking facilities should be ready by 2020.
