Mediahuis Eindhoven helps flopped film to cult status

Making a flopped film successful anyway; that is the purpose of festival Glitter. Mediahuis Eindhoven wants the movie with Mariah Carey to get cult status.

Artists, poets, performers and DJs work together to help a flopped film to cult status. They let themselves be inspired by the movie that yielded lead actress Mariah Carey a Razzie Award for worst actress.

Glitter tells the story of Billie Frank, a young singer who is discovered by DJ Julian Dice after a difficult childhood. Critics called the film the worst movie of the year, unbearable and hopelessly cliché.

The creative festival will be held on Saturday, December 3rd. The party lasts from eight at night until two o’clock in the morning at the Glass Pavilion at Strijp S. At the entrance, the organization says, you can pay any amount.
