60,000 filmmakers in 140 cities, are going to make an astounding amount of 4000 short films, in 48 hours. This is going to happen in December, and also in Eindhoven.
The 48 Hour Film Project is in the city for the second time this year and seeks enthusiastic filmmakers. They will form teams to compete with each other, in order to make the best short film within this time limit.
On Friday evening, the teams will be informed of a few mandatory ingredients: an object, character and a line of text. Next, they will all randomly draw a different genre.
And then they will have to work. Writing, filming, editing, soundtrack, everything is included. The winning film will be going to the world finals. Some films will be shown at the Cannes Film Festival 2017 as well.
The contest lasts from December 2nd to December 4th. Anyone may register. You can do this on the website.
