In an accident on monday evening in the city center of Eindhoven a cyclist was seriously injured.
The cyclist was hit by a car on the Wal road, near the Town Hall. The victim being swept away for tens of meters. A thraumahelicopter landed on the town hall square, but did not need to be deployed. The victim was taken away by ambulance. The condition of the cyclist is currently not know.
Police have temporarily blocked traffic on the Wal road, to further investigate the cause of the accident.
