Old oak tree removed from het Stadswandelpark

An old Hungarian oak tree was dug up and removed from het Stadswandelpark this morning. The tree died last year. And it is likely that there will be other trees at risk at het Stadswandelpark, according to political party, het Ouderen Appel (‘Elderly appeal’). The party will be asking questions during a scheduled council meeting.

The party would like to know why the old Hungarian Oak tree died and what was done to try and save the tree. In addition, the party is eager to find out if there are other trees at het Stadswandelpark which are in bad shape and what can be done to try and save the trees.
